Ghent Wood Frame Melamine Markerboard
Ghent’s Verona Melamine markerboards provide excellent writing and erasing qualities at a price that will amaze you. Non-magnetic Verona markerboards will provide years of reliable performance using dry-erase markers with the proper care. Verona markerboards are an economical alternative to Centurion porcelain-on-steel boards, yet durable enough to carry a full five-year guarantee.

ERASABLE MARKERBOARD – INSTRUCTIONS
General Care – Cleaning
Your erasable markerboard is an amazingly effective communication product that will give you years of
lasting service if you follow these instructions.
We recommend that you clean your markerboard with markerboard cleaner before initial use. This will
remove any residue that may remain on the surface of the board. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and
dry with a soft cloth.
Completely erase your board after each day’s use. The longer marks remain on the board, the more
difficult they become to erase. Stubborn, old marks can be erased by marking over them with your black
erasable marker.
For general cleaning, simply wipe your board clean with a soft, wet cloth. If further cleaning is necessary,
use Ghent’s “Sparkleen” Markerboard Cleaner, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft towel
Erasable Markers
The erasable marker has a solvent base that dries quickly. This is the key to its erasability. As a result, the
markers should be kept tightly capped when not in use. If the cap is left off, the tip will go dry. If this
happens, it may be possible to re-wet the tip. Cap the marker, turn it tip-down and shake vigorously for 20
seconds. Also, you may store the marker tip-down overnight. With proper care, this marker will have a
very long life as compared to regular markers. The erasable marker is designed specifically to mark on
erasable markerboards. It is not recommended for use on other surfaces.
