The concept of a cafeteria and mobile cafeteria table is fairly recent. Sit down restaurants have become a part of nearly every way of life. A favorite restaurant provides a home away from home type of comfort.
In many of the new world’s population men were in the majority. Most were single but just as many were married. They had left their wives and children back in the old countries. In spite of that they were determined to seek their fortune in the new world and to send for their families. A mobile cafeteria table would have been unusual in the more traditional parts of the world. In the new world men were drawn to mining or farming or ranching. It is possible to select appropriate colors for events such as children’s birthday parties, staff meals, informal family gatherings, film production sites, school events, fundraisers, church fellowships, the list is endless. It could be said that mobile cafeteria table evolved from the need to carry on a much loved custom of breaking bread with family, friends and neighbors in any locality.
